PRN Anesthesiologist Position • $350 per hour  7am – 4pm Thursdays • No Call  

 

   

LifeLinc Anesthesia is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at Surgery and Laser Center at Professional Park in Clinton, South Carolina. This prn opportunity offers a predictable 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM schedule, working Thursdays only, and no call, providing an excellent work–life balance in a high-quality outpatient setting. 

This role focuses on eye cases within a streamlined, efficient surgical environment. The Anesthesiologist will deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care while collaborating closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and facility leadership to ensure consistent, patient-centered outcomes.

The Surgery and Laser Center is a well-established outpatient surgical facility in Clinton, South Carolina, known for efficient OR workflows, strong physician relationships, and a commitment to clinical excellence. Providers at this site benefit from a stable weekday schedule, no call requirements, and a supportive clinical culture that values teamwork, quality, and efficiency. 

 

 

Schedule: 

Thursdays only, 7AM to 4PM.

Malpractice
Professional liability will be covered by LifeLinc. 

 

 

Responsibilities

Administrative Duties:   

  • The Anesthesiologist must function as a collaborator and team member toaccomplish applicable goals and functions ofLifeLinc.   
  • Develop standards for continuity of care and case management.   
  • Remains cognizant of rules and regulation as they pertain to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and remains compliant at a local, state, and federal level.   

   

Clinical Duties:   

The scope of practice includes, but is not limited to, the following:   

  • Performing and timely and accurately documenting a pre-anesthetic assessments and patient evaluations, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia.   
  • The day-to-day responsibility for this position will be to provide professional anesthesia services to patients in accordance with the standard of care and state and federal laws and may include any of all of the following:   
  • Managing a patient's airway.   
  • Managing emergence and recovery from anesthesia.   
  • Releasing or discharging patients from a post-anesthesia care area, and providing post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care related to anesthesia side effects or complications.   
  • Responding to emergency situations by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques.   
  • Additional nurse anesthesia responsibilities which are within the expertise of the individual CRNA.   

 

Communication: 

  • Attends meetings as needed   
  • Works with peers to obtain required information on a timely basis and to solve outstanding issues, as appropriate.   
  • Promotes and contributes positively to the teamwork of the department by assisting coworkers, contributing ideas and problem-solving with co-workers. 

Qualifications

  • ACLS/BLS/PALS certification
