LifeLinc Anesthesia is seeking skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our team at Banner Churchill Community Hospital in Fallon, NV. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, highly competitive compensation packages, and a collaborative clinical environment where CRNAs practice with meaningful autonomy while delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality anesthesia care.  

 

About the Facility: 

Banner Churchill Community Hospital is a community-focused critical access hospital serving Fallon, Churchill County, and the surrounding rural region of western Nevada. Established in 1996, the hospital operates a 25-bed licensed facility dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of medical services. 

 
Case Mix: 1,800 annually. No heads, hearts, vascular or spine. Mainly just Gen Surg, Ortho, Gyn, Endo, Eyes, ENT, healthy peds. Average approximately 30 deliveries/mo. 

 

Schedule: M-F shifts available as needed and call.

 

Benefits: 

$125/hour

Benefits are available to employees working 30 or more hours weekly.  This position is not benefit eligible.

Professional Liability will be covered by LifeLinc.   

Responsibilities

Administrative Duties: 

  • The CRNA must function as a collaborator and team member to accomplish applicable goals and functions of LifeLinc.  
  • Develop standards for continuity of care and case management. 
  • Remains cognizant of rules and regulation as they pertain to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and remains compliant at a local, state, and federal level.  

 

Clinical Duties: 

The CRNA scope of practice includes, but is not limited to, the following:  

  • Performing and timely and accurately documenting a pre-anesthetic assessments and patient evaluations, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia.  
  • The day-to-day responsibility of the CRNA for this position will be to provide professional anesthesia services to patients in accordance with the standard of care and state and federal laws and may include any of all of the following:  
  • Managing a patient's airway. 
  • Managing emergence and recovery from anesthesia. 
  • Releasing or discharging patients from a post-anesthesia care area, and providing post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care related to anesthesia side effects or complications.  
  • Responding to emergency situations by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques. 
  • Additional nurse anesthesia responsibilities which are within the expertise of the individual CRNA.  

 

Communication: 

  • Attendsmeetings as needed   
  • Works with peers to obtain required information on a timely basis and to solve outstanding issues, as appropriate.  
  • Promotes and contributes positively to the teamwork of the department by assisting coworkers, contributing ideas and problem-solving with co-workers.  

Qualifications

 

Additional Qualifications: 

  • ACLS/BLS/PALS certification
