About the Facility: The UroCenter has two fully equipped cystoscopy suites with video-enhanced endoscopy and fluoroscopic imaging. We are able to perform the full range of minimally invasive urological procedures in these suites, including prostate and bladder tumor resections, laser stone ablation, relief of urinary blockage from the kidney or bladder and diagnostic procedures for the evaluation and treatment of hematuria (blood in urine), chronic urinary tract infections and interstitial cystitis. Our operative suite allows us to perform additional outpatient urologic procedures. Ultrasound guided biopsy of the prostate is facilitated with moderate sedation, allowing for a painless experience. Circumcisions, vasectomy*, ligation of varicose veins in the scrotum and the removal of scrotal masses are common procedures done by our urologists. Additionally, cystocele, rectocele and bladder neck suspension* forstress incontinence are performed in this suite. A binocular microscope is available for vasectomy reversal and sperm retrieval† for assisted reproductive procedures. We also offer Interstim neuromodulation implants for retractable symptoms of overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis or chronic urinary retention.
